They were called Volla. A warrior tribe – birthed in the Metaverse, peaceful but masters in the art of Bending. Before leaving the metaverse without a trace, the Volla left the foundations for a next generation medicine game in its name sake. Volla is a sport that attempts to build mental fortitude, physical fitness and emotional healing through play and competition. In order to compete, athletes must be willing to straddle the line between the physical and the virtual.

THE CALL?

From a beacon in the far corner of the Metaverse, a call echoes across the web summoning athletes of all ages, all sports and levels of fitness. They summon you to an ancient arena. You have been summon to play in the VR Diamond League. A league for the NEXT elite athlete.

THE SPORT

Volla is a team-based projectile fighting game.

A cross reality combat sport built for virtual reality. Volla was purposely built as a medicine game. A sport that attempts to build mental fortitude, physical fitness and emotional healing through play.

  • Wing

    Thunderbird

    Support, sharpe shooter, controller of the outer lanes. Covers teammates from a distance.

    Foundation: Stone and Fire

  • Striker

    Electro Dragon

    Balanced and versatile at striking with both fist. Its primary focus is to weaken the opponents defense .

    Foundation: Ice, Water and Lightning

  • Guard

    Iron Buffalo

    Protective shell and heavy one fisted combat. Cleans the board with brute force

    Foundation: Solar and Time

Court Scale

Play in local multiplayer arena matches against friends or in league play

 

Rules of the Game

Volla Rule Set

  • Each match is best of 3 rounds

  • Goal is to get the opposing player or teams’ Vol Points to zero.

  • Damage % decreases as the fighter is hit.

  • As the opposing player/team damage decreases during a match, one Ultra item will be spawned so they could use it to mount a comeback.

  • If any player points reaches zero, it is a KO and the player loses the match. 

Special Abilities

Each player class has a 7 level signature ability. During a match, the kinetic energy that the player builds up, powers their signature ability or ultimate character assist. To release this power, the player has to perform a gesture that is only specific to their player class.
